Ryan Katchky, MD

Research Activities
Dr. Ryan Katchky is a paediatric orthopaedic surgeon practicing at London Health Sciences Centre, and an Assistant Professor within the Division of Paediatric Surgery and the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery at Western University. His practice focuses on the orthopaedic management of children with neuromuscular conditions, as well as paediatric trauma management and general paediatric orthopaedics. Dr. Katchky completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering and his Medical Degree at Western University. He then completed residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at The University of Toronto, followed by a fellowship in Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at The Hospital for Sick Children. Dr. Katchky’s research interests include Health Care Quality, Safety in Surgery and Improving Health Care Delivery, and he has completed a Master’s Degree in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety through the University of Toronto. He joined Western University’s Department of Surgery in February 2021.
